Why I deactivated my whatsapp account

I quit WhatsApp for a number of reasons:

  • Annoying Groups: The groups I was on in WhatsApp drove me nuts. This is my experience, it needn't be true to everyone. One 'Good morning' message used to get 19 other replies. It was unnecessary and didn't make sense to me. I know I could switch off notifications, which I often did, but, one of the groups I was on is a group including my friends from class (Engineering). They often discussed class schedules and results. This made me keep the notifications on until some of the members of the group started discussing something I wasn't interested in.
  • Last Seen: The Last Seen feature on WhatsApp was not always so helpful. It always was a negative thing for me. Let us be honest, not all messages from people share the same priority. May be you're having a conversation with a person, and when another person texts you on WhatsApp right then, it gets awkward. You can, may be, manage two or three conversations together, but after that, your replies get diluted on each conversation. Not answering to a person when you're online or when you've been last seen after them sending their text, leads to them mistaking you for not replying to their message. But, you might be conversing with someone very important and wouldn't have replied, in order to avoid a diluted conversation with both. It only stresses up things. With my old phone, sending text to one person was a task in itself, imagine 3-4 conversations.
  • Change in me: Between the time I got into WhatsApp and quit it, I changed into a different person. This change was not triggered by WhatsApp, it's a different issue altogether. Anyway, the new me prefered being alone and having little or no baseless conversations with people. I spoke to someone only when it was required. WhatsApp seemed like a network that wouldn't let me be that person

  • WhatsApp is a great way to communicate with people. It's just not for me.
    I prefer SMS's

God is always Fair to Us

After the Kurukshetra war, Arjuna and Krishna were talking on how how their life was till then.
Arjuna says to Krishna: we followed Dharma our whole life and what did you give us? 14 years of difficulty and
War all our life. Duryodana got to enjoy all his life despite he was arrogant and never followed Dharma.
Krishna to Arjuna: It's because man never understand my way of thinking.
    Arjuna: what's your way?!!
Krishna takes Arjuna to a village both dressed like poor brahmins. They went to the richest man in the village and asked for shelter that day as it was late and they said they would leave the next day. The rich man was so arrogant but still asked them to stay along with cows in the other building.Arjuna was angry but didn't say a word. The next day,Krishna told to rich man " repair the building the cows are in. Its too week and might fall anyday now. The rich man checked the building and found the same. He thanked Krishna and got workers to make it strong that it wont shake a bit for next 100 years.
Krishna then took him to a poor man's hut in that village and asked for shelter that day. He not only gave his own hut but also brought some fruits for them that night. His only means of living was a cow.Arjuna was happy about the hospitality. The next day when everyone were sleeping,Krishna took Arjuna to that cow and touched it with his hands. The cow died the next second.
Arjuna and Krishna went back to the palace. Arjuna then said to Krishna "This is your way of thinking. Helping that rich man who was arrogant and mean but killing the only means of living of that poor man who was so kind and good"
Krishna replied with a smile :
Its what I said. You never know my ways.
That building I asked that rich man to
renovate had hidden treasure from a king. If it had fallen, he would have got the treasure which lasts for next hundred years. Now it stays under the building for the same time.
The fate was that a death must occur in that poor mans life. There are just him,his wife, his only son and a cow. I decided to take his cow in place of his family.
Arjuna now got to know the mysterious ways in which god thinks and decided never again to question what he gets in his life...
Hence whatever that happens to us is for our good just as in the case of poor man.
Even if you arent a believer of God, you need to believe in Goodness around the world. There is much goodness than bad. You just need to see it. You have to find God in that Goodness.

    Misc tips on Dressing :

    • Get women to help you. You wouldn't believe how many girls are willing to jump and assist you with your
clothing. It may be a little invasive, but it helps.
    • Exercise actually does help your clothing. T-shirts on people with a de ned chest look better than someone
who has a washboard chest. Having a little muscle makes things better.
    • Re-wear jeans and some pants, never shirts. This really depends on how you sweat, but jeans and other
"heavy" material pants can be re-worn safely. Just change your shirt - trust me, it will smell no matter what.
Plus, you don't want to wear the same exact thing two times in a row.
    • If at all possible, wash clothing before you wear it the fi rst time. It gets the "store smell" out of it, as well as
    makes it softer.
    • Wear clear deodorant. Especially with black clothing, white marks can show up. The same thing goes with
dandru ff - get it fi xed. Especially with dark clothing, such things can be noticed.
    • If it has an unsightly stain, get rid of it. Jeans do not apply here but for white shirts or anything formal, just
accept that it died. You don't want to look like a greasy trucker.
    • Try to avoid shopping online. You can't see the clothes in actuality, you may end up getting something that
doesn't t you, or simply looks dumb on you.

Ways to Turn one Suit into a Whole Week of Wear :

Did u know that in how many ways u can wear a SUIT ,
Here are some of them :

    • Wear it without a tie. Collar open, suit either closed or open. This gives the allusion of relaxedness- ties are
the ultimate in style to some people.
    • Wear the suit jacket with jeans. This is a kickass way to go on a date.
    • Go without the suit jacket, wear the pants and the shirt. I personally detest this look because it tends to
show too much fat on ugly guys, but skinny guys can pull it on .
    • Use a vest with the pants. A black vest goes well with just the pants and gives a more European allure.
    • Use the vest with the suit for a makeshift three piece suit. This actually is your most dignified kept look, but
it also tends to be a bit formal.
    • Wear different ties or colored shirts. A black suit can have       tons of combinations.
    • Don't tuck your shirt in. While this only works in casual situations, it tends to be an interesting concept- but
it is VERY VERY hard to pull off .

    Suits : How to wear

Unless you intend to work as a petrol pump station assistant the rest of your life, times will come when you will need to wear a suit.

    Rules of Suits :

A suit, much like a shirt, has about three billion ways in which you can wear it and look stupid, and about 100 ways in which you can actually look decent. This limits your options to either following set trends and ideas and looking good, or looking like a complete dumb shit and making everyone in
your o ce/party/whatever laugh at you. So, with that in mind, follow these tips for safety :

    • Stay conservative and classic. Obviously this means that you should stick to the basics of clothing. Wearing
anything completely out of fashion or odd will immediately brand you as an idiot, so this is your basic method
of "looking good". Find a black suit that ts you and accentuates your body, and you will be pretty much
set in this realm- straying from it will be at your discretion, but the plain black suit is an absolute necessity.
    • Three or two buttons is optimal. Three is only good if you are tall or thin, two is best if you're a bit round.
Ask someone in a Men's Suit Department for help on this one.
    • The length of the jacket should be normal - too long makes it look like a leisure suit, too short is very strange.
If you need a good measurement, go grab a standard Male's sized tie and put it up against the lapels- they
should be around the same length.
    • The typical suit coat has a vent in the back (about a 10 inch long cut in the middle) that allows for your
back, among other things. Some di erent suits do not feature this. Make sure to check and test which you
prefer more - vents sometimes allow the suit to pu up, but an uncut jacket can be uncomfortable to some
    body types.
    • Some black suits tend to feature odd fabrics, such as heavier weaves. Avoid this, as they are not only misplaced in many ensembles, but they also are a pain in the ass to keep clean and dry-clean them.
    • A lot of a suit is the ability to accentuate the upper body and slim the lower. DO NOT SIMPLY BUY
A SUIT OFF THE RACK. Think and BUY.
    • There is a debate going on about if men should wear belts with suits. In general, the historical thing has been to wear belts, thus it is generally good for you to do so. Much like leisure suits, fads like these tend to die out.
    • Suits can be produced in two ways - being sewn, and being glued. Ask - glued suits (glue being used to
hold fabric together) are HORRIBLE, and fall apart easily. Ignore what the man at the counter says about
"advanced new technologies" - glue in a suit is as natural as your penis in your asshole. Don't do it.
And while you're at it, check the lengths of all of these key things:
    • The length of the sleeve when you hold out and bend your arm (as if holding it out to a lady). It should be
long enough to cover your wrist, but possibly expose a bit of watch or something- nothing more.
    • The length of the actual coat itself. It should come down to about your hips.
    • The drape of the fabric in the back. There should actually BE no drape. If you see any wrinkles in the back,
    there is a problem.
    • The fabric under your arms. This, much like your back, should never have wrinkles that come from being
    stretched or pulled.
